Watercolor....Not to Worry

(How to Create a Painting -Playing with water color and textures)
The two day workshop will explore adding exciting textures to
our paintings. The textures are a fun way to take a painting from
ordinary to extraordinary.( and it is a lot fun.)
We will start with a simple floral for day 1and a landscape for day
2( or any subject of your choosing.)
Then using different techniques we will create textures using
gauze, strings, papers and stamping. All the materials are
removed and the paintings are then taken to either a realistic or
abstract finish.
All of these are ideas are for fun and to enjoy the “play” of
watercolor. However, the overall design of the painting will be
the most important part of our project.
All the texture in the world, will not make a masterpiece, good
design and a little planning will. We will go through a step by step
process for building a good painting .
The class is designed for painters of all levels. Class includes demos and time for
individual attention for each artist.
The most important part of class will be painting without worry and enjoying the
company of fellow artists. I look forward to meeting everyone and creating some
wonderful paintings. Please feel free to call with any questions.
