'Fun with Collage'
2 Day Workshop
March 5 & 6, 2009
Jean Banas is an award winning artist from New Smyrna
Beach, Florida. She is a signature member of the national
and Florida Watercolor Society. She gives lectures and
classes in collage and abstract expressionism.
This class will show you the ease of producing art by gluing
(collaging) colored papers to mat board. Following a brief
demonstration, students will collage selected compositions
to create exciting artwork. Participants may continue to
produce totally collage pieces, or use collaging techniques
to resolve or enhance paintings in progress. Through
casual in structure, the underlying focus will be on
composition, values and creativity.
