    This workshop has a two-fold purpose.....to experience plein air sketching and
    painting, as well as studio work.

        We will practice sketching with a pen; we will learn about composition and design;
    we will experience using primary colors only....mixing them on wet paper; we will be
    working on different types of paper, which I will provide.

        I will be providing a painting demonstration plus personal instruction for each
    student daily.  A critique will close each day.  It is my hope that this hands-on
    instruction will inspire each student to paint with more confidence as they improve
    their skills.

        Sessions will be held Monday, March 12th;  Wednesday, March 14th and Friday,
    March 16th.  Classes will be held from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.  Students will provide their
    own lunch and drink each day.
