- "Stuck on a painting?? Unhappy with the results of a painting?
Wondering where to go next on your painting? Sometimes it helps to see with "new eyes". Bring your paintings that you have questions about and Joan Mangano and Pat Fadden will try to help you visualize the way to go in a friendly, non-threatening critique."
- Pat Fadden was born in Salina, Kansas, but spent most of her
early life in South Florida where she studied at the University of Miami. She received a Masters in art education from Florida International University. For several years, Pat taught art in high school.
- Hurricane Andrew was a turning point in Pat's life, after which
she and the family moved from Homestead to Sanibel Island, Florida. It was there, inspired by the natural beauty around her, that she turned to watercolor painting. She has continued her education joining workshops given by Tony Couch, Tony Van Hasselt and others.
- Currently residing in Flagler Beach, FL and Sautee, GA, Pat
enjoys painting with the East Coast Plein Air group. Her work has been exhibited at the Satee-Nacooche Gallery, the Northeast Georgia Arts Guild, the Quinlan Gallery, Gainesville, GA and Georgia Watercolor Society. Her work has been featured on the cover of Flagler Magazine, Hallifax Magazine, the Florida Native Plant Society State Conference Brochure and was featured at the Hospice Coastal Gala, 2004 fund-raiser. Also in Florida it has been shown at the Casements of Ormond Beach, the St Augustine Art Association and the Flagler County Art League.
