  • Suzanne is an award winning sculptor and ceramicist . She is self-taught and works with a wide
    variety of clays and ceramic techniques, combining classic functional pottery as the ’canvas’ for
  • miniature sculpture. The combination of functional ceramics with miniature sculptures has become
    her signature style.

  • Join Suzanne and fellow clay artists interested in learning and exploring a variety of techniques and
    share your experience in this weekly ceramic studio. Participants may attend as they wish since this
    studio is not a structured class. All work will be hand formed and can include functional ceramics
    and/or sculpture.

  • Suzanne will be available as a consultant and if the participants agree, she will demonstrate
    techniques. An additional fee is required for clay and firing.

  • Tools required:
  • - Small paring knife
  • - 2 Brushes size 4
  • - rolling pin any type (marble, wood, plastic)
  • - 2 old sponges
  • - small plastic bowl for water
  • - ruler
  • - a flat board, like a cutting board, to carry finished
  • work (wood, plastic, ceramic floor tile, etc) at least 12"X 12"

  • Other materials provided at additional cost from instructor: clay 25lb bag $20; $5 each firing; glazes
    provided by student
