- Liz teaches two classes at FCAL in different seasons:
- Beginning Drawing Class: Learn how to draw in 8 easy lessons! You will learn how to see like an
artist, so you can start drawing from the very first day! Classes will cover line, values, space,
relationships and the essentials of
- design and composition. Because
- the lessons are sequential no new
- students will be accepted after the

- Intermediate Drawing Class:
- This class will be an ongoing drawing class and is open to all ages and levels. The students may work
in charcoal, marker, pen and ink or pencil. Sketching is done from still life arrangements and/or live
models with an occasional field trip for plein aire drawing.
- Students will learn how to build a stronger composition, work in various drawing mediums and learn
how to do representational drawings. On the first day they attend class, students are to bring drawing
paper at least 9 x 12 or larger, a light weight portable drawing board or firm drawing surface to hold the
paper and drawing pencils.
- Here is a good class to brush up on your drawing techniques. Emphasis will be drawing from still life and
an occasional model, using pencil, charcoal, ink, markers and any other medium of your choice. Come
and join the fun.
