Founded in 1978
For 30 years the Flagler County Art League
has been providing presentations and
discussions for our members and the
community. We encourage all artists and
those who support the arts, to join us and
participate in our activities.  We hold
monthly meetings on the second Thursday
evening of the month from September
through May, and monthly art shows in the
gallery at the Art League.

In addition to our monthly art shows, we
have two major juried art shows each year.
 Autumn's
Sunday Afternoon with the
Artists
is followed by the Spring Festival
with its
FCAL Gallery Spring Show in
April which includes an outdoor festival of
visual and performing artists and vendors.
These shows are becoming increasingly
popular, and they are gaining artistic
acclaim in our local and neighboring
communities.

Membership benefits include frequent
events such as classes and special art
gatherings. The Art League sponsors at
least four art workshops each year. These
hands-on workshops provide instruction and
demonstrations that are an opportunity to
study with local, national and international
professional artists.  All workshops are open
to the public.

In service to our community, each year the
Art League chooses an art-oriented student
to receive a scholarship.  High school art
students are encouraged to participate for
their own special awards in our annual
juried shows.

Our members share their love of art with
opportunities to exhibit their artwork at the
Art League Gallery, the FCAL website,
Flagler County Public Library, local
businesses and other venues.
