        FLAGLER COUNTY ART LEAGUE PROSPECTUS
           For All Gallery Shows and Special Exhibitions


    ENTRY FEES FOR JUDGED SHOWS:  $15 MEMBERS for first entry
    OR $25 for NON-MEMBERS.
    $10 for each additional entry with a three-piece limit per show.  (Special Exhibitions will be
    by invitation and entry fees may not apply.)  Please read all of the guidelines and complete
    the Show Registration to be entered into any one of our gallery shows or special
    exhibitions.  All entry forms must be received by the published deadline date (see the
    website for the deadline date of each show.)

    SHOW AND SPECIAL EXHIBITION GUIDELINES:  The fine arts show is open to all artists
    regardless of geographic location and open to all media unless otherwise stated.  All
    entries must be original and not copies of, or be derived of, whole or in part, from
    copyrighted work.  No reproductions will be eligible.  Limit three entries per artist per
    show.  Entries must not have been previously exhibited in any FCAL show.  (Special
    exhibitions may not require this guideline.)  Works produced from commercial products,
    kits, molds, published patterns and produced in workshops will not be eligible.  Two-
    dimensional work must be framed with hanging wires arranged so that the apex of the wire
    will be 3 inches below the top of the work.  Saw-tooth hooks are not acceptable.  Frame
    size shall not exceed 72” on a side.  Neutral matting required: white, off-white, tan, gray, or
    similarly neutral and frames should be simple in design. Gallery Wraps are acceptable if
    edges/sides are also painted.   Absolutely no wet artwork will be accepted.

    SHOW REGISTRATION GUIDELINES:  The entry form and fees must be received by the
    deadline date.
    Information on entry form regarding title, size and price cannot be changed and artwork
    cannot be altered after submission of entry.  FCAL reserves the right to disallow a work if it
    does not meet the specified guidelines.  Entry fees are non-refundable.   Artwork that is
    not pre-registered will not be accepted.  Delivery:  unless otherwise stated, Wednesday
    before each opening from 1 to 4 pm.  Art delivered after 4:00 on this date will not be
    accepted.  Attach a completed information label to the upper right corner of the back of
    each piece of artwork, corresponding to the information on the Show Registration form.

    PICK UP OF ARTWORK:  (If artwork will be picked up by someone other than the artist,
    they must notify the check-in person upon delivery of the artwork.)  Artwork can be picked
    up the Wednesday following the closing of the show.  Sale of artwork:  FCAL will handle all
    sales transactions during the scheduled show period and be responsible for collecting
    state sales tax.  The base retail amount, less the FCAL donation of 25% will be remitted to
    the artist within two weeks (14 days).  Please consult with your tax advisor regarding tax
    eligibility of this donation.  Delivery and shipping arrangements will be done between artist
    and buyer and will not be responsibility of FCAL.
